Occupational absence entitlement refers to the amount of leave or time off that employees are entitled to take due to various absences, such as sick leave or parental leave.

If the entitlement for occupational absence is adjusted by the FTE multiplier, this is due to the configuration of Absence Pay Parameters when part-time staff are involved.

If full entitlement is required (i.e., not pro-rated), you can amend the configuration by removing the entitlement basis from the affected absence rule.

To do this, follow the steps below in portal.

  1. Click Settings then under Absence Configuration, click Absence Pay Parameters.

  2. In the Select Detail dropdown menu, select Absence Rules.

  3. Highlight the relevant absence rule, then click the three-dot icon.

  4. Click More then in the Entitlement Basis field, remove any selected value.

  5. Click Save.

Note: This issue affects only the calculation of absence entitlement.
