If you encounter an error message when loading personal rates of pay in bulk, it may be due to one of two possible reasons.


Formatting issues

There is an issue with the file format. To ensure the file is in the correct format, verify that the file structure matches the expected layout.,

A blank line at the end of the file can also cause the upload to fail. To check that there is no blank line, follow the steps below.

  1. Open the CSV file in Notepad.

  2. Place your cursor on the last row.

  3. Press Backspace to remove any extra blank lines.

  4. Save the file, then try uploading again.


Data Issues

The file contains data issues. To ensure the data is correct:

  • Check that each rate of pay is associated with a valid employee number.

  • If you're including appointment IDs, they need to be valid and active for the employees listed.
