Conditions That Suppress SSP
SSP is suppressed when:
A WFM hours record exists on the same date as the sickness absence.
The hours record creates a fractional day segment (e.g., hours worked against a rostered shift that results in a segment less than 1). For example, working 6 hours against an 11-hour shift creates a segment of 0.55.
Even if the hours record is later rejected, the fractional day segment remains and continues to suppress SSP until it is removed.
Conditions That Do Not Suppress SSP
SSP is not suppressed when:
The day segment equals 1 (e.g., a full-day absence matching the full rostered hours).
No calculated day segment exists.
