When submitting an RTI file, you may encounter the above error message in the RTI Exception Report. This error appears because the system requires at least two address fields to be populated for an employee. If these fields are missing or incomplete, the RTI file cannot be processed.
To resolve this issue, update the employee’s address information and regenerate the RTI file by following the steps below in Portal.
Update employee address date
To check the effective date of the employee’s address information, follow these steps.
From the dashboard menu, select People Management.
Beside Employees click View.
In the Search Name field, search for employee.
Highlight the relevant employee then click View.
Click Contact Information.
Under My Address Details, check the effective date of at least 2 addresses.
If you need to update the effective date, click the three dot icon.
Click Edit Address Details.
In the Date effective field, select the appropriate effective date.
Click Save.
Regenerate and resubmit the RTI file
After updating the effective dates for the address, regenerate the RTI file and submit file for processing.
