If you generate a submission file and receive the following error in the exception report, it indicates that the pay date specified in your payroll submission falls outside the tax year defined in the submission header.
The system checks if the pay date aligns with the defined tax year and flags an error if it does not.
To resolve this issue, regenerate the file with a pay date that falls within the tax year. For instance, if your submission is for the year 2023, the pay date must be within 2023.
