If the minimum wage report is calculating an incorrect hourly rate for a substantial number of employees or if it has difficulty interpreting the substantial hours recorded, the issue may stem from data synchronization problems, configuration errors, or missing entries in the substantial hours records.

To resolve this issue, follow these steps.


Minimum Wage Exception report

Check the Minimum Wage Exception report. To do this, follow these steps.

  1. Click Manage Payroll then highlight the relevant pay group.

  2. Click the Payroll Checking tab then click View Gross to Nett.

  3. Click the Minimum Wage tab.

πŸ“ŒNote: This will display employees whose calculated hourly rate falls below the expected statutory rate.

Contracted hours do not match

If the contracted hours for employees do not match their actual weekly hours, enable the Periodic Employee Hours toggle for the corresponding pay group. To do this, follow these steps.

  1. Click Settings then under Codes, click Pay Groups.

  2. From the Pay Group dropdown menu, select the relevant code.

  3. Click Next Page then turn on the Periodic Employee Hours toggle.

  4. To save changes, click Save.
