To set up a pay code that rounds up or down in peopleXD, follow the steps below in portal.
📌Note: The rounding method rule applies only to salaries and allowances and scaled deductions. It doesn't apply to hourly allowance pay codes, such as overtime or percentage allowances. For pay codes like overtime or percentage allowances, you should use mathematical rounding rules, rounding either up or down to the nearest unit.
Click Settings then under Codes, click Pay Codes (Classic).
From the Pay Code drop-down menu, select the relevant pay code.
Click Allowances/Payment tab.
From the Rounding Method drop-down menu, select the appropriate method.
Click Save.
Test changes in your UAT site before you update live. After you modify the rounding method, run a single validation for an employee and regenerate the payslip to confirm that the update has worked.
