The maternity salary offset not generating is where the system fails to automatically calculate or apply the correct salary adjustments during an employee's maternity leave period.
This typically occurs due to incorrect system configurations, missing employee data, or setup errors in the maternity pay parameters.
To resolve this, check the settings for the salary offset. To do this, follow the steps below.
Check sickness category code
To check if there is a sickness category code is entered for an employee, follow the steps below in Portal.
Click Employee then in the search field, search for employee.
Beside the relevant Employee, click VIEW.
Click Employee Pension then click Sundry Profile.
Click the Work Details tab then check if anything is set in Sickness Catergory code field.
Check the default settings
To check the default settings, follow the steps.
Click Settings then click Absence Pay Parameters.
π€Tip: The default will show in the Default Absence Category Code box.
If the employee appears with a non-default sickness category, check whether the code is active by following these steps on the screen above.
From the Select Detail drop down menu, select Absence Categories.
Check to see if the Category is turned on.
