Copying pay group access from one employee to another involves replicating the payroll permissions and access settings associated with a specific pay group for a different employee in the system.

This action is essential for maintaining consistency in payroll management, particularly when onboarding new employees or updating existing ones with similar roles or responsibilities.

Copy pay group access

To copy a paygroup access from one employee to another, follow the steps below.

  1. Click Settings then under Codes, click Pay Group Access.

  2. Highlight the relevant employee then click the three-dot icon.

  3. Click Duplicate then in the Username field, enter the employee's username.

  4. From the Pay Group drop-down menu, select the relevant pay group.

  5. From the Location drop-down menu, select relevant input location.

  6. To save changes, click OK.


Grant pay group access

To grant an employee access to a paygroup, follow the Portal or Back Office steps.
