If you encounter an error while running the observation report or the View Gross to Nett report in Back Office, it is due to the specified position rate and scale point for the employee's salary not being present in the system.

To resolve this issue, follow the steps below in Back Office.

Review employee salary history

First, review the employee's salary history. To do this, follow these steps.

  1. Click CorePersonnel then click Maintenance.

  2. Click Salary Administration then click Maintain HR Salary Amendments.

Check position rates and scale points

After checking the employee's salary history, check that all specified position rates and scale points for the employee are present in the system. To do this, follow the steps in Back Office.

  1. Click CorePersonnel then click Maintenance,

  2. Click Salary Administration then click Maintain HR Salary Amendments.

  3. Search for the relevant employee.

Check that the system includes all position rates and scale points specified for the employee.

  1. Click CorePay then click Pay Rates.

  2. Click View Position Rates then search for the position code.

Update position rate and scale point

If you find that the required position rates and scale points are missing, add the necessary rate. To do this, follow these steps.

  1. Click CorePay then click Pay Rates.
