Position code, scale point and pay multiplier are blank on View Employee Details and Maintain Employee Details screen

In CorePay's View Employee Details and Maintain Employee Details screens, the position code, scale point and pay multiplier appear blank, yet the salary calculates correctly when the Generate Salaries and Allowances (PAY290) process is run.

If the position code, scale point and pay multiplier appear blank on the View Employee Details and Maintain Employee Details screens in CorePay even though the Generate Salaries and Allowances (PAY290) process is run, it may be due to one of the following reasons below.

We’ve compiled a list of possible causes and how to resolve them.

No appointment for substantive maintenance

There is no row for the most recent appointment on the substantive maintenance table in the database for clients using v18 and higher of the software.

To resolve this, check that the employee's most recent appointment is listed as a substantive appointment. To do this, follow the steps to make a post substantive.

No approved salary

There is no approved salary for the relevant employee.

To resolve this, create a salary amendment for the relevant date and approve on CorePersonnel and CorePay.
