Back Office: Transfer status is ACKNOWLEDGED and submission status Pending

Reason why transfer status is ACKNOWLEDGED while submission status is pending on the Transfer Submission File screen.

When a transfer status is marked as ACKNOWLEDGED with a submission status of Pending in PeopleXD Payroll, it means that the system has received and acknowledged the transfer request, but it has not yet processed the actual submission.

This situation usually arises due to the need for additional approvals, missing information, or delays caused by periodic batch processing.

To resolve this issue, follow the steps below.

  1. Click CorePay then click Update.

  2. Click PAYE Modernisation then click Transfer Submission Files.

  3. For the relevant pay group where the Submission Status is Pending, click Run Check again.

    πŸ€“Tip: The submission status will show COMPLETED - all valid payslips.

  4. Navigate back to Transfer Submission Files.

  5. To remove the row from the screen, select Confirmed.

    πŸ“ŒNote: Check that the file is not resubmitted.

Having a Pending status does not mean the request is queued for review. Rather, it indicates that Revenue has received the file, and the Run Check process will verify if there are valid payslips associated with it.
