When PRSI (Pay Related Social Insurance) weeks do not generate as expected in PeopleXD Payroll, it indicates a problem with calculating an employee's insurance contributions. This issue can affect their eligibility for social welfare benefits.
Several factors can lead to this situation, such as incorrect payroll settings, missing employee data, or errors in the calculation process.
Employees who receive payment solely through timesheets (Positive Input ) will have their full PRSI entitlement for the period.
Employees paid only by timesheet are not included in the Generate Salaries and Allowances process; Pay290 will not calculate PRSI weeks for them. PAY300 (Payroll Update) will pay for PRSI weeks for the full period.
