f an unpaid leave pay code has been recorded in CoreTime and there is no corresponding salary reduction in CorePay, the issue may be due to one of the following reasons.
Weβve compiled a list of possible causes and how to resolve them.
Work pattern shift
The employee is assigned to a shift with a work pattern that has zero standard hours.
To resolve this, you must assign the employee to a suitable shift with properly configured default hours on the work pattern.
β
To change the shift assignment, follow the steps below in Back Office.
Click CoreTime then click Pers Data.
Click Person Maintenance then click Shift Types.
Under Shift Types, in the next free row, select a suitable shift type.
For the employee you wish to be on the shift, select the date effective.
Enter the start sequence then click the save
icon.
πNote:
Once updated, recalculate the absence in the Record Absence Detail screen (you may need to "tab" over the start date and end date fields of Absence).
After this, proceed with the usual process: calculate future hours and perform input validation.
FTE value
The post FTE value is too large. To resolve this, check the Post FTE value is 1 or less.
