Error: 'Authentication Failure - The supplied user credentials failed validation for the requested service'

An RTI has been generated and transferred, but the XML Response file contains the following error:

If you have generated and transferred your RTI file but the XML response file shows an error message, the issue likely stems from incorrect data related to the company-level username or password.

To resolve this, follow the steps in the relevant section below.

Portal

  1. Click Settings then under Company Parameters, click Organisations.

  2. From the Code drop-down menu, select the relevant organisation code.

  3. Under Revenue Details, check the validity of the data in the following fields:

    • Sender ID

    • RTI Username

    • RTI Password

Back Office

  1. Click CorePay then click Reference.

  2. Click Corporate Menu then click Organisations .

  3. To select the relevant organisation code, in the Code field, click the query icon.

  4. Under Revenue Details, review the validity of the data in the following fields:

    • Sender ID

    • RTI Username

    • RTI Password
