Configure and upload payslip logo

Steps to add a payslip logo in portal.

A payslip logo is a visual representation, often your company's logo, that appears on employee payslips, enhancing brand identity.

Including a logo on payslips not only reinforces your brand but also provides a consistent and recognizable format for employees.

To upload and configure a payslip logo successfully, you will need to follow two key stages:

  • Turn on the Upload Logo widget via the Admin dashboard.

  • Use the Upload Logo widget to implement your logo on the payslips.

This process ensures that your payslips reflect your company's identity effectively.


Turn on Upload Logo widget

A user can either select an existing tab or create a new one to display the widget on the Administrator Dashboard.

To do this, follow the steps below.

  1. From the dashboard menu, select Administrator Dashboard.

  2. Under Site Manager, beside Dashboard Configuration, click OPEN.

  3. We recommend a tab is set up exclusively for this widget as it requires space.

    πŸ“ŒNote: The Logo Upload widget can only be activated for the Administrator Dashboard.

  4. In the Search Widgets field, search for Upload Logos/Templates.

  5. Turn on the Selected toggle.

  6. In the Position field, enter the position you want the widget to appear on the tab.

  7. Click Configure.

Add menu option

To grant a user access to view the newly configured upload logo widget, add the following menu option for that user. To do this, follow the steps below.

  1. From the dashboard menu, select Security Dashboard.

  2. Click Menu Profiles.

  3. In the search field, search for the menu profile you wish to grant access e.g COREPORTAL_ADMIN.

  4. Click the three-dot icon then select Manage Menu Options.

  5. To filter the systems, click the filter icon.

  6. From the Filter By System dropdown menu, select CorePortal and CorePortal Pay.

  7. Click Apply.

  8. In the search field, search for the menu option Upload of Template/Logo.

  9. Turn on the Active toggle.


Upload Logo widget

To use the Upload Logo widget to upload a payslip logo, follow the steps below.

  1. Click Administrator Dashboard then click Upload Logo.

  2. Check the Image Type is set as PNG Logo by default.

  3. In the Location field, choose one of the following locations:

    • Back Office Payslip

    • Copy Payslip

    • Portal Login

    • Quick Jump Toolbar

    • Portal Payslip

  4. In the Name field, enter a name of the logo.

  5. For each logo you upload, ensure that the name field contains a unique value.

  6. If another logo or template already uses the same name, you will not be able to use it for your logo.

    πŸ“ŒNote: Make sure to populate this field with your chosen file name before uploading, for example, 'logo_pg1.' If you upload a new logo with a different name to a location that already has a logo, the old logo will be replaced with the new one.

  7. In the Company field, select the company for which you want to display this logo.

  8. In the Pay Group field, specify the pay group you want to display this logo.

  9. Click Upload then a dialog box appears to select and upload your image file.

    • Use the PNG file format.

    • Check the image dimensions are 200 x 100 pixels.

  10. Click OK then the system will process your file and save the logo.

Remember, the pay group and company fields only apply to payslip locations. If necessary, you can upload another logo for different locations with specific company and pay group combinations; however, only logos uploaded without a company and pay group will be recognized in those cases.
