Use the Absence Cut Off feature to run payroll validation without automatically including absences from PeopleXD Workforce Management. This gives you more control over your payroll figures, and you can decide when to include PeopleXD Workforce Management absences in your payroll run.
đ Note: This only affects absences you record in PeopleXD Workforce Management, not absences you enter directly in PeopleXD Payroll.
Enable Absence Cut Off
To enable this feature, watch the video or follow the steps below.
From the dashboard menu, search for and select Site Manager.
Next to Admin Settings, click Open, then search for cp_manual_absence_run.
Click Edit, then update Value to Y.
Click OK.
PeopleXD Workforce Management absence status
After enabling the feature, you can monitor and control PeopleXD Workforce Management absence inclusion from the Payroll Dashboard. The Mode column displays a WFM ABSENCE indicator showing the current status for each pay group.
Green: Means absences were included in the last validation run. If you run validation from the Process Payroll screen, absences are included.
Red: Means absences weren't included in the last validation run. If you run validation from the Process Payroll screen, absences aren't included.
đ Note: At the start of each payroll period, the default setting includes absences in validation runs.
Include PeopleXD Workforce Management absences
To change whether absences are included in validation for each pay group, watch the video or follow the steps below.
On the Payroll Dashboard, click Manage Payroll.
For the relevant pay group, click the three-dot menu.
Select Enable WFM Absence or Disable WFM Absence.
Click Yes.
