If the allowance value in the occupational salary is incorrect, it is due to the pay code configuration being set to include Qualifying Basic Pay Codes for occupational calculations.
To ensure the allowance pay code is not included in the occupational calculation, follow the steps below in Portal.
Click Settings then under Codes, click Pay Code (Classic).
From the Pay Code drop-down menu, select the relevant pay code.
Click the Allowances/Payments tab.
Under the Absence section, disable the Qualifying Basic Pay Code toggle.
Click Save.
To recalculate the occupational pay on the affected employee,Re-run validation.
