Error: 'Invalid PRSI Class for Current Tax Year - please re-enter'

If you see the above error message when you try to query an employee or click OK after the employee records are returned, this is because the final payroll period of the current tax year has been completed. There are no PRSI rates set up for the new tax year.

To resolve this issue, follow the steps below in Back Office.

  1. Click CorePay then click Reference.

  2. Click PRSI rates then in the Year Number field, enter the current year.

  3. Click Copy Year then a box will pop up asking if you want to set rates for next year based on the current year.

  4. Click Yes.

πŸ“ŒNote: This will populate the table for next year with this year's rates. These rates can be updated if needed at a later stage.
