To update your student loan deduction codes and prevent further deductions, please follow the HMRC guidance below:
If you receive an SL2 or PGL2 stop notice, cease deductions starting from the first available payday after the deduction stop date indicated on the notice. The first available payday is the earliest payday when it is feasible to implement that notice.
📌Note: The system will continue to deduct student loans if the end date falls within the current payroll period. To stop these deductions immediately, you must adjust the end date.
