Statutory pay parameters form the foundation of your payroll system's compliance with employment legislation, ensuring accurate calculation of mandatory benefits such as Statutory Sick Pay (SSP), Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP), and other government-mandated payments.
To configure statutory pay parameters, watch the video or follow the steps below in portal.
Click Settings then under the UK Tax Rates section, click General.
Amend the data as required then click Save.
Under the Redundancy section update the relevant fields.
Click Redundancy.
🤓Tip: From here you can set the redundancy weeks entitlement by age.
Click Add then enter the age and weekly entitlement.
Click Save.
