If you receive an error message when attempting to transfer an ERR certificate, it means that the loaded certificate does not have the correct permissions.
This issue typically arises if you are accessing the Revenue Online Service (ROS) as a sub-user rather than the administrator. In this case, the main ROS administrator needs to adjust your permissions through the admin services on ROS.
To access Enhanced Reporting Requirements (ERR), the sub-user must have at least one view permission for PAYE-Emp. The administrator should enable the appropriate permissions:
To View Only
YES: Allows viewing ERR expenses/benefits.
NO: Allows submitting and viewing ERR expenses/benefits.
To Submit and View
YES: Allows submitting and viewing ERR expenses/benefits.
NO: Allows viewing ERR expenses/benefits only.
πNote: If you select Yes for both viewing and submitting ERR expenses/benefits, the sub-user may encounter an error message. Therefore, be sure to select only one option that fits the sub-user's needs.
If you are the ROS administrator and the permissions appear correct, please reach out to ROS support for assistance.
