In every payroll run where you've processed Enhanced Reporting Requirements (ERR) qualifying payments, you need to report the values to Revenue on or before the date you pay the employees.

Transfer file

Once you've generated the file in PeopleXD Payroll, to transfer it to Revenue, follow the steps below.

πŸ“ŒNote: If you've transferred multiple submission files for the same period, for example, an original submission and a correction submission, we recommend you also complete a check ERR run process.

  1. Click Outputs then click ROS.

  2. Click Enhanced Reporting Requirements then click ERR Files Process.

  3. From the Select ERR Action drop-down menu, select Transfer Submission File.

  4. From the Company drop-down menu, select the relevant company.

  5. Check the details are correct for each pay group.

  6. For each pay group, turn on the Transfer File toggle then click Transfer.

  7. Click Yes.

Revenue then responds to the transfer, and the Status column shows one of the following:

  • Transferred: Revenue successfully received the transfer.

  • Rejected: Revenue rejected the file. The rejection reason also appears in the Status column.

  • Pending: You've transferred the file to Revenue, however, they haven't processed it yet.

Confirm transfer

Once you've transferred the file and completed the Check ERR Run process, you need to confirm the transfer. To do this, follow the steps below.

  1. Click Manage Payroll then click Outputs.

  2. Click ROS then click Enhanced Reporting Requirements.

  3. Click ERR Files Process.

  4. From the Select ERR Action drop-down menu, select Transfer Submission File.

  5. Turn on the Confirmed toggle then click Yes.
