Error: 'You do not have access to "Get Payroll Unprocessed" in the Web Services system. Please contact your system administrator'

When utilising the Payroll Dashboard, the following error appears.

When opening the Payroll Dashboard or navigating to different screens within this dashboard, you may encounter this error message. It is because the menu option Get Payroll Unprocessed is not enabled under your assigned menu profile.

To add the missing menu option, follow the steps below in Portal. If you do not have access to do so, please reach out to your Superuser to action this for you.

  1. From the dashboard menu, select Security Dashboard.

  2. Click Menu Profiles.

  3. In the search field, search for the relevant menu profile assigned to the user e.g COREPORTAL_MANAGER.

    πŸ“ŒNote: Amending access on a menu profile will update this for all employees who are assigned this menu profile.

  4. Click the three-dot icon, and then select Manage Menu Options.

  5. To filter the systems, click the filter icon.

  6. From the Filter By System dropdown menu, select CorePortal Pay and Web Services.

  7. Click Apply then in the search field, search for the following menu option WS_PEOPLE_MENU.GET_PAYROLL_UNPROCESSED .

  8. Turn the toggle for the menu option above.
