If an employee's average weekly earnings are below the LEL but are still being paid SSP in Portal, is because the Average Earnings Warning toggle is enabled.
To remove this warning, follow the steps below in portal.
Click Settings, under UK Tax Rates click General.
Under General section, turn off Average Earnings Warning toggle.
🤓Tip: If you don't want SSP paid to employees earning below the LEL, under the General section, clear the Average Earnings Warning check box.
