Changing an employee's pay method involves updating how they receive their wages, such as switching from a paper cheque to direct deposit or altering the frequency of payments.

This process is vital for ensuring employees receive their wages in a way that suits their preferences and aligns with your payroll procedures.

To change an employee's pay method, follow the steps outlined in the relevant section.

Portal

  1. From the dashboard menu, select People management.

  2. Click Dashboard then beside Employees, click VIEW.

  3. In the Search field, search for the employee, then click VIEW.

  4. Click Actions then click Personnel Profile.

  5. Click Bank Detail then beside the relevant Account type, click UPDATE.

  6. From the Pay Method drop-down menu, select the relevant pay method.

  7. Click SAVE.

Back Office

  1. Click CorePay then click Employee.

  2. Click Personnel Profile then in the Employee field, enter the employee number.

  3. In the Select Detail window, select Payment Details

  4. Change the pay method as required.

    πŸ“ŒNote: When changing the pay method from CH to PP, check to record the BIC and IBAN / Sort Code and Account Number for the employee to ensure the correct details are included on the bank file.

  5. Click Save.
