The Cumulative PRSI weeks don't match the history PRSI on the PAYE521 report, despite the employee's PRSI weeks being correctly allocated

If the cumulative PRSI weeks do not align with the history PRSI weeks, even though the employee’s PRSI weeks are correctly allocated throughout the year, it is because of a mismatch between the cumulative and history weeks on the Amend PRSI Class/Weeks screen which results to an incorrect exception on the pre year end data check report.

To resolve this, follow the steps below in back office.

📌Note: Depending on the version used, the steps might differ.

  1. Click CorePay then Employee.

  2. Click PAYE/PRSI/TFA/Cumulatives then click Amend PRSI/NI Class/Weeks.

  3. In the Employee field, to search for the employee, click the query icon.

  4. In the lower section of the screen, re-enter the weeks value for the required periods.

🤓Tip: For example, set 2 to 0 then back to 2.

  5. Click Save.

If there is a mismatch, the above action will re-calculate the PRSI totals, and the weeks will match once the report is re-generated.
