If a user has forgotten their password credentials for their portal or back office account, or they've expired, they can be reset in PeopleXD Security. To do this, follow the steps below.
đNote: A different password reset process is followed if users connect to PeopleXD via Access Evo.
From the dashboard menu, in the search bar, enter and select Security.
Click on User Management.
From the drop-down menu, select All Active Portal Accounts or All Back Office Accounts.
Enter the account username in Search users, then click the magnifying glass icon.
Click the three-dot menu against the user record, then select Manage Account.
Click ACTIONS, then select Reset Password.
Enter a new password that complies with the password policy, then click OK.
đNote: This process will also reactivate expired back office accounts, allowing users to regain access.
To reset your password, contact a super user. The Access support team canât reset user passwords. If youâre unsure who your super user is, contact your Access Account Manager or Customer Success Manager for this information. To review your organization's password requirements, navigate to Security > Password Policy in the PeopleXD Portal. This section outlines the minimum password length and other security configurations.
