If an employee has been paid their annual car allowance instead of the monthly amount, it is because the Annual Allowances indicator has been enabled.
To resolve this, check if the allowance is set to annualised. To do this, follow the steps below in Portal.
Click Settings, then under Codes, click Pay Groups.
Search for the pay group code then click three-dot menu.
Click Edit then turn on the Annual Allowances indicator.
📌Note: Enable the Annual Allowances indicator only if the allowance should be paid as a periodical amount.
Click Save.
