If you encounter the following error message when submitting an FPS file, locate the employee referred to in the error. Open the FPS CSV file and scroll to the line indicated by fps:Employee[1212]. Remember to add 1 to the line number since there is a header in the file.
For example, if the error mentions line 1212, go to line 1213 in the CSV file to find the employee's information.
To enable the Occupational Pension indicator, follow the steps below in Portal.
From the dashboard menu, select People Management.
Click Dashboard then beside Employees, click VIEW.
In the Search field, search for the employee, then click VIEW.
Click Personnel Profile then under Payroll Legislative Options.
Enable the Occupational Pension toggle.
Click Save.
Next, check if the Occupational Pension Bereaved option should be enabled:
Click Employee then in the search field, search for employee.
Beside the relevant employee, click VIEW then click Sundry Profile.
Click the UK Parameters tab then check if the Occupational Pension Bereaved Spouse/Civil Partner option is enabled.
Click Save.
