To disable a pay code that is obsolete and no longer in use, adjustments need to be made on the Pay Code screen.
To do this, follow the steps below in Back ffice.
Click CorePay then click Reference.
Click Pay Codes then the Pay Code field, to select a pay code, click the list
icon.
In the General Tab, enable the Disable for Timesheets check box.
In the Description field, change the pay code description to indicate not in use.
๐Note: Example: DO NOT USE. This will trigger a message to appear if a user inputs a timesheet under this code manually.
Click the save
icon.
๐Note: It's not possible to completely prevent the use of a pay code, so it is recommended to modify the description of the pay code.
