Pension has an end date but is still deducting

Pension deductions continue after pension has ended, resulting in incorrect payslip entries.

If you're using the payroll end date in your records to avoid the pension deduction, enter the end date into Payroll End Date on the relevant pension.

๐Ÿค“Tip: If the pension shows a payroll end date then this means that you're set up to use this setting.


To edit the pension payroll end date, follow the steps below in Portal.

  1. Click Employee then in the search field, search for employee.

  2. Beside the relevant employee, click VIEW then click the Pension tab.

  3. Highlight the relevant pension code then click the three-dot icon.

  4. Click Edit then update the payroll end date.

  5. To save changes, click Save.

๐Ÿ“ŒNote: If you require this to be removed from the current payroll, rerun the jobs or run a single validation for the user to see the change.
