If a new employee is exempt from auto-enrollment this month because of a three-month postponement period, first check the employee's current status. Then, verify this status against the Pension Rules screen to ensure it includes the postponement period.

To do this, follow the steps below.
Click Settings then under UK Tax Rates, click General.
Click Auto Enrolment then from the Options dropdown menu, select 06- Pension Rules.
Click Save.
