Auto-enrolment pension schemes are mandatory workplace pension arrangements that require employers to automatically enrol eligible employees in a qualifying pension scheme.

This ensures that workers build retirement savings throughout their careers. The purpose of this legislation is to increase pension participation rates and provide financial security for employees who might otherwise lack sufficient retirement provisions.

Employers must enrol eligible employees who meet specific criteria, including age (typically between 22 and the State Pension age), earnings thresholds, and employment status.

If an employee has not been auto-enrolled, several factors could be the cause. To help resolve this issue, we have compiled a list of possible causes and solutions in portal.
