When running payroll jobs such as Generate Salaries and Allowances (PAY290), Run Payroll Validation (PAY140), Run Payroll Update (PAY300), or Complete Update (PAY355), you may encounter an issue where the job is submitted but does not complete. When checking the View Job Status screen, the job status remains at 0 without progressing.
This issue occurs because the listener is down, preventing the job from processing correctly. To resolve this, the listener will need to be restarted. To do this, follow these steps.
Find the task number
To find the task number, follow the steps below in Back Office.
Click CorePay then click Enquiry.
Click View Job Status screen.
After finding the task number, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article. Include the following details:
Pay group
Task number affected.
