Create a new company

Steps to create a new company and a new tax-registered company that falls under our same organisation.

A new company may be necessary if you need to process payrolls through various tax-registered entities.

It is not possible to create a new pay group and add it to an existing company, instead, you need to first establish a new company and then create new pay groups for it.

To create a new company, follow the steps below in Portal.

  1. Click Settings then under Company Parameters, click Organisations.

  2. In the Code field, enter a known company code.

    ๐Ÿค“Tip: Choose a company thatโ€™s already set up correctly and has a payroll calendar in place.

  3. Click Copy Company then in the To Company code field, enter the new company number.

  4. Click OK then from the Select Detail drop-down menu, review the following elements:

    • Company Parameters

    • Payroll Parameters

    • Revenue Details

    • Payroll Calendar

    • Miscellaneous Parameters

    • Bonus Parameters
