To close off your payroll tax year and process your payroll year end in PeopleXD Payroll, you need to run the year end cleardown. When you do this, it :
Moves the payroll company into a new tax year.
Clears down the year to date values for all employees.
Moves the year to date values from the completed tax year to the end of year table.
Creates a payroll calendar for the two next years.
Complete the year end cleardown
To complete the year end cleardown process, follow the steps below in Portal.
Click Year End then, for the relevant company, click Manage.
Click Yearend Cleardown then select the company.
Check that all pay groups are complete for the tax year.
Click OK then click OK.
