If any of the following error messages appear:
Deduction already exists with this Pay Code and Reference..
Deduction with same reference already exists for...
when trying to set up a deduction on the Maintain Employee Deduction screen, it is because the pay code has already been used. The system will only allow a reference to be used once for historical purposes.
To resolve this, set up the deduction with a different reference other than the one currently populated on screen.
📌Note: There should be no spaces in the reference and maximum length allowed is 12 characters.
