Resetting a third-party paypath file involves refreshing or reconfiguring the data exchange mechanism between your payroll system and an external payroll service provider.
This process is necessary when data transmission errors occur, file corruption is detected, or synchronisation issues arise between the internal system and the third-party provider.
This action should be done immediately upon identifying data transmission failures and before processing the next payroll cycle.
๐Note: If you use Back Office, follow these steps below.
To do this, follow the steps below in Back Office.
Click Manage Payroll then highlight the relevant pay group.
Click the Inputs tab then click General.
Click Third Party EFT then from the drop-down menu, select Reset Paypath.
Enter the company and start date.
๐คTip: The start date is the processing date.
Turn on the Reset toggle then click Submit.
Re-generate the file.
