Configuring pay groups involves setting up specific categories within the payroll system that determine how different employee groups are compensated. This process is necessary to streamline payroll processes, accommodate varying pay rates, and manage different compensation structures effectively.

Click Settings then under Codes, click Pay Groups.
From the Pay Group Code drop-down menu, select the relevant student pay group.
Click Add.
π€Tip: We recommend copying an existing pay group, where a similar one exists, by selecting it from the dropdown menu and clicking Duplicate.
In the Pay Group Code field, enter a unique code.
In the Pay Group Desc field, enter a description.
From the Company Reference drop-down menu, select a company.
Fill in the required fields then click Next Page.
Fill the relevant fields then click Save.
