Error: '...ERRMESS :ORA-01403: no data found'

When the validation for PAY140 has failed or is stuck in portal, the following error appears.

When the PAY140 file is run and the validation fails or gets stuck in portal, this is because the payroll calendar for the upcoming year is not set up when running the payroll for the last period of the current year.

To resolve this issue, you need to rebuild next year's calendar.

To do this, follow the steps below in portal.

  1. Click Settings then, under Company Parameters, select Calendars.

  2. In the Company field, search for the relevant company.

  3. Beside the relevant company, click Build/Rebuild Year.
