The Final Run Indicator is a safety mechanism within the Pay module to ensure that once it has been ticked on, any changes to an employee's record cannot be made that will interfere with that pay groups next pay run.

You can run Generate Salaries & Allowances as many times as needed to carry out the initial checks on an employee, but the system won't allow you to confirm timesheets until the Final Run Indicator has been turned on.

The Final Run Indicator can be found when running the Generate Salaries and Allowances (PAY290) job.
