The Central Statistics Office (CSO) is Ireland's national statistical institute. Their role is to provide independent statistics about our society, economy, and environment, which are freely available to everyone and support evidence-informed decision making.

The purpose of the Earnings, Hours and Employment Costs Survey (EHECS) is to collect, compile and disseminate a series of quarterly and annual earnings and labour costs statistics across economic sectors in Ireland.

Companies may be selected to share data with the Central Statistics Office (CSO) for the EHECS survey.

To view the breakdown of a CSO output, follow the steps below in Back Office.

πŸ“ŒNote: The CSO HECS return module/report is available only in Back Office and not in the Portal.
