Tax code change not uploaded

A tax code change came through uploads but wasn’t applied and didn’t appear on the exceptions report.

If a tax code change hasn't been applied or doesn't appear on the exceptions report, check the XML file downloaded directly from HMRC.

After downloading the XML file, review it and verify the following details in the updated file:

📌Note: If the tax code hasn't changed, check the file for future dates. If the date is in the future, no change will be applied at the time of loading.

Example: A tax code was issued in February but is effective for the next tax year and will not take effect until then.
