To ensure any time-related processes, such as generating timesheets and running payroll, continue to function correctly, you need to extend your user defined calendar. This ensures the calendar covers all future periods.

Period guidelines

  • Weekly calendars: Typically have 52 periods in a tax year. If your pay date falls on 5 April, you may need 53 periods.

  • Fortnightly calendars: Typically have 26 periods.

  • Monthly calendars: Always have 12 periods.

πŸ“Œ Note: Ensure your Weekly and Yearly calendars are extended far enough to cover the periods in your user defined calendar. If they aren't, the new periods won't generate correctly.
