In PeopleXD Workforce Management, pay codes represent specific types of employee compensation or time entries. For example, regular hours, overtime, sick leave, or bonuses.
When you set a pay code as an affecting code on a balance, it means that the value of that pay code directly influences the calculation of that balance.
To add or remove a pay code as an affecting code on a balance, follow the steps in the relevant section below.
Add a pay code as an affecting code on a balance
Click CoreTime, then click System Params.
Click Balances, then click Balance Parameters.
From the list of values, select the relevant balance.
Click Affecting Codes then select the relevant pay code.
Set the affecting element then specify the multiplier.
Click Save.
Remove a pay code as an affecting code on a balance
β οΈImportant: Removing a pay code as an affecting code will affect balance values for all employees for all periods.
Click CoreTime, then click System Params.
Click Balances, then click Balance Parameters.
From the list of values, select the relevant balance.
Click Affecting Codes then select the relevant pay code.
Click Delete then click Save.
